Collaboration between teams

The scores that appear in the “Collaboration between teams” graph is calculated by dividing the total cross-group nominations by the total participants from both departments.

Each line connecting one team to another is labeled with a % value that represents the number of unique nominations exchanged between the two connected groups relative to the total number of respondents in both teams.

Example Scenario:

  • There is a line between a Product department and a Marketing Department with a score of 1.5

  • There are 4 respondents from the Product team

  • There are 6 respondents from the Marketing team

  • The total respondents across both groups is 10

  • There are 7 nominations from Product to Marketing

  • There are 8 nominations from Marketing to Product

  • The total cross-group nominations is 15

  • 15 nominations / by 10 individuals in the group = a score of 1.5.

Most Influential Teams

The score for 'Most Influential Team' is determined by totaling the collaboration scores connected to each department. The 'Most influential teams' are ranked based on a score (strength of collaboration) derived from the sum of their connection strengths.

Any departments with fewer than 5 nominations and any collaboration connections with a score less than 0.1 are excluded from the graph (but not the table).
