The Entromy platform supports surveys in multiple languages. Click here to learn how to set up multiple language versions for your survey.

Along with providing the survey in multiple languages, you can also dictate the language version each participant receives. This is defined by adding a column titled Locale in your user file.
โ€‹

Note: Surveys will be initially presented in English, unless otherwise defined using the instructions below. All participants will have the option to toggle between available language versions.

For example, if you'd like to send a survey to a participant in German, add the Locale column header to your user file, then use language code de in the corresponding cell for that user. The following screenshot demonstrates how locales should be formatted in your user file, using German, Italian, and Spanish as examples:

  • Bahasa Melayu = ms

  • Burmese = my

  • Chinese Simplified = zh-cn

  • Chinese Traditional = zh-tw

  • Czech = cs

  • Danish = da

  • Dutch = nl

  • English = en

  • French = fr

  • German = de

  • Greek = el

  • Indonesian = id

  • Italian = it

  • Japanese = ja

  • Korean = ko

  • Polish = pl

  • Portuguese Brazilian = pt

  • Portuguese = pt-pt

  • Romanian = ro

  • Russian = ru

  • Serbian Latin = sr-latn

  • Spanish = es

  • Spanish - Latinoamerica = es-x

  • Swedish = sv

  • Tagalog = tl

  • Thai = th

  • Turkish = tr

  • Vietnamese = vi
