Question: Can I keep a single recipient’s 360 open longer than the parent 360 for which the recipient is associated?

  • Answer: No – All 360 close dates must be made from the parent 360. The close date selected for the parent 360 will also reflect in the child 360. Any edits to the child 360 close date will automatically be overridden to reflect the date listed for the parent 360.

Question: How do I make a ‘self review’ for a feedback recipient?

  • Answer: When preparing your 360 Participant File, include a row where the feedback recipient info is listed in columns A-C, and repeated in columns D-F with the relationship marked as ‘Self’ – This will generate a self review for the feedback recipient when you import the participant file.

Question: How can I ensure anonymity in my 360 initiative

  • Answer: Entromy will not display the names of feedback providers in the output, and you can promote further anonymity in your 360 Participant file by way of the relationships you use. Specifically, be sure each unique relationship used (other than Self or Manager) have 3+ feedback providers assigned for the recipient (ie: 3+ Peers, 3+ Direct Reports, etc).

Question: What is a Parent 360 vs a Child 360?

  • Answer: Parent 360 is the Master survey where the questions, communications and participants are configured.

  • The Parent 360 is shown in bold above the Child 360s in Configure --> Surveys as well as on the Manage icon.

  • All edits in the Parent 360 should funnel to the child level.

  • All launch and reminders emails should be sent from the parent 360.

Question: I added a feedback provider who is already participating in the initiative to another recipient’s list from the parent 360, but the feedback provider can’t see the review – why?

  • Answer: You must ‘activate’ the new review – In this case, you prepared the new survey instanced so the provider can give feedback to the recipient, and the last step is to generate the survey link for the new instance. Navigate to configure --> Surveys --> Wrench beside the parent 360 --> Generate survey links.

  • To confirm this was a success, navigate to the Manage icon --> Child survey for the recipient who you just added a provider to --> select the tiny human icon. The ‘Sent’ column for the new provider should reflect the date you selected ‘Generate Survey links’ to activate their review.

Question: How can I re-send a 360 link to a feedback provider?

  • Answer: Select the Manage Icon and the tiny human icon to the right of the parent 360. Locate the participant who needs their survey resent, select the wrench beside their name and ‘Resend Survey’

Question: What does ‘Apply communication to All’ mean in the parent 360’s communication section?

  • Answer: This effectively funnels the communications for launch, reminders, thank you and welcome notes from the Parent 360 to the Child 360s. Remember, no comms should be sent from the child 360 anyhow, this is a protection measure put in place to minimize impact of issuing communications improperly.
