To begin the process of launching a survey, navigate to the "Surveys" tab.
From here, select "Add survey".
The Entromy platform has several pre-populated survey templates available to choose from. Select the one that is most appropriate for your use case. For the purposes of this example we will choose the "Organizational Health Baseline".
At this point you will be able to begin configuring the different elements of the survey through the tabs on the top of your screen.
There are four basic items needed to launch a survey:
A question file.
A participants file.
Survey launch and reminder communications.
Adding Entromy emails to your safe senders list.
We will go into more details on each of these individual components below.
Question file
If you have added a new survey using one of Entromy's existing templates, questions will have already been added to your survey instance. For surveys such as our Operational Health Baseline, we recommend that you keep these questions unchanged. That being said, you do have the option to add, remove and edit questions. This can be done in the platform itself or by editing and uploading our question file template.
Participants file
At minimum, you will need to include participants first name, last name and email address (for participants without an email address or who will be taking the survey via kiosk, you will need to include a unique identifier (typically an employee ID number)). You can include a number of other attributes/dimensions as well such as location, job title, department, manager, etc.
Survey launch and reminder communications
The Entromy platform has survey launch and reminder communications templates already populated. You have the ability to customize these messages as well as preview them through the platform.
Adding Entromy emails to your safe senders list.
You will need to have your IT team add Entromy to your safe senders list. Instructions are outlined in the platform. You will also be able to generate a test email to verify that we have been whitelisted.
Once these launch components are complete, you can send yourself a preview of the survey to confirm everything looks correct before sending it out to your organization. To send yourself a preview, navigate to the Preview & Launch tab and select "Send me a preview".
At this point, assuming everything looks correct, you are clear to launch your survey.
