This article will review all of the basic functions you will need to know in order to navigate the platform.
Here is a brief video, and below are the written instructions.
Understanding the top navigation bar
Upon logging into your account at live.entromy.com, you'll see a navigation bar which will stay visible as you move about the Entromy platform:
β
Home - the Home page gives you an overview of our survey solutions, essential information to get started, and a dashboard with charts that showcase your recent survey insights.
Surveys β After exploring the Home page, you can navigate to the Surveys section. Here, surveys are organized by status (Active, Closed, Draft) to make navigation easier. This section serves as your central hub for managing surveys, allowing you to preview and send launch and reminder emails effortlessly, as well as review comments on open-ended questions left by employees. For active or recently closed surveys, you'll see a badge next to them, helping you quickly identify where your attention is needed most.
Insights β After running a survey or if you want to preview the first results, head to the Insights page. Here, you'll find a variety of comprehensive reports within the Entromy platform, generated based on your survey data.
Action Plan β Once you've reviewed the insights from your survey report, it's time to take the next step - creating tailored recommendations to drive meaningful improvements. This helps you prioritize actions that will have the greatest impact on your organization. You can leverage our AI-powered functionality to generate an Action Plan with relevant recommendations or add your own initiatives to build a customized strategy for improvement.
How to Check Participation
To check participation, go to the Surveys page and you will see the current overall participation rate for any live or closed surveys.
To see further details on and export participation, please see this article.
How to Send Reminders
Please note that all reminders are sent manually, so you can have the freedom to choose when the reminders are sent. Reminders are only sent to users who have not yet responded to at least one question.
For instructions on how to send a reminder, please see this article.
How to Make Simple Changes to Your Survey
Navigate to Surveys tab - this is where all your surveys live. Click on the survey you wish to edit. You will see a menu on the left side with different tabs to edit various pieces of the survey (such a Basics, which includes Survey Name and Closing Date, Questions, Communications, and more).
To make changes to specific questions, please see this article.
How to Add a User to a Live Survey
There are times when you may need to ad additional users to a survey after the survey has already launched. In order to do that, please see this article.
How to Pull Your Survey Results Report
To pull a report on your survey results, go to Insights > Reports. Feel free to change any filters that are relevant for what you're looking for. A preview will appear in the center of the page. You have the option to either download the report in a fully comprehensive PowerPoint report, or you can download the raw data in an Excel file.
For the PowerPoint report, you have two options: a brief summary/overview of the results, in which case you'll click on the green "PPT" button and select "PPT (Summary)" button, or, if you'd like to have all the data and heatmaps, click on the green "PPT" button and select "PPT (Summary + Appendix)" option. You will then receive an email within several minutes with a link to the downloadable report.
For the Excel raw data, click on the green XLS button. The file will automatically download.
Here is a helpful article which discusses how Entromy scores are calculated.
How to Review Statements
To review responses that have been submitted on all open-ended questions in your survey, navigate to Surveys > choose the survey > Actions: Review comments. You may choose to select filters if you're looking to review only certain statements. To easily export the statements, click the green "Export" button. The file will automatically download a raw Excel file of all statements along with the scoring.
